Unexpected Glamour

Hello, my wonderful design loves! I have been keeping very busy with work this past month, but somehow I've found a few minutes where I can spend some quality time with my keyboard and bring y'all a fun new blogpost this week... In the design profession, I am constantly studying rooms and furniture so it is really exciting when I find a space that is truly unique. Taking a great piece and creating a design that is unexpected is one of the reasons I love doing what I do, and this week I've collected a group of images that demonstrate that design philosophy. The images below show how the designers that created them went above and beyond to make their room stand out, and to make us as viewers do a double take. In these images, you can see how unexpected colors like pink sofas and chairs, furry pillows or rugs, and even glamorous chandeliers and lighting, make these rooms shine. Tufted Glory

Hello hello, my design loves!! This week, it seems like everywhere I look I am seeing tufts! I just can't seem to get enough of them, although if I'm being honest... I can never really get enough of tufted furniture! Tufting adds a little extra glam and oomph to the piece of furniture, and really makes you do a double-take when you look at a space. So this week, I have a collection of some of my favorite examples of tufting for your visual pleasure...
